As we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation, the safety of our volunteers and patrons stands foremost in our thoughts. By following the decisions of our governor, as well as the recommendations of the CDC, we hope to do our part to #flattenthecurve. With that in mind, rehearsals for Black Friday cannot now continue, which in turn makes the May opening unattainable for the caliber of show we desire this special production to be.
After much discussion between our board, the director of the show, the cast, and the Mabel Tainter Theater about the future of Black Friday, we have come to a decision that we believe works best for all involved.
Black Friday will be rescheduled as our Fall 2020 season opener. The show must go on…just not as soon as planned!
IF YOU ALREADY HAVE TICKETS FOR BLACK FRIDAY: We will be in contact with you by either phone or email this week (March 16-20). We will be happy to either move your tickets to their corresponding performance date in October, or offer a voucher good for any show in our upcoming 2020-21 season. Bottom line, we will work with you to figure this out!
If you hold Black Friday tickets and DO NOT hear from us by the end of the day on Friday, March 20th, please contact us NEXT WEEK (March 23-27) via phone (715-231-7529) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org). Our physical office will not be open.
MTG currently has one employee, the wonderful Charis, and the rest of us are passionate volunteers. Please help us help you during this unique situation by being patient as we work together to contact folks…we appreciate your patronage, and couldn’t exist without it, and we want to ensure your satisfaction with this situation.
Thank you for your support, theater family; we’re all in this together.
