Menomonie Theater Guild Holds Auditions for “The Mousetrap”

The Menomonie Theater Guild proudly announces auditions for their upcoming production of Agatha Christie’s murder mystery, “The Mousetrap.”

The scene is set when a group of people gathered in a country house cut off by the snow discover, to their horror, that there is a murderer in their midst. Who can it be? One by one the suspicious characters reveal their sordid pasts until at the last, nerve-shredding moment the identity and the motive are finally revealed.

The Mousetrap is the longest-running play in the history of London’s West End.

Audition Information

WHEN: Wednesday, March 8 or Thursday, March 9th, 2017 at 6:30pm
WHERE: Menomonie Theater Guild, 502 2nd St W, Menomonie, WI 54751

“The Mousetrap” will be directed by Melissa Kneeland. Auditions will consist of cold reading scenes from the script. Come prepared to attempt a standard British accent.

Giles Ralston Late 20’s to Late 30’s
Christopher Wren – 20’s/ early 30’s
Mrs. Boyle – 50’s or older
Major Metcalf – 40/50’s
Miss Casewell – Late 20’s – 30’s
Mr. Paravacini – 30’s or older
Detective Sergeant Trotter 30’s
